David has spent his professional life making significant contributions to the transportation system of Chicago and the State of Illinois. As Senior Design Principal with M2, he is
responsible for setting design direction and quality standards. He also takes a direct role in design and management of select projects.

A perceptive architect with over 37 years of experience, he has a profound understanding of the unique needs inherent in public work. His client and user-centric approach combined with consistent consideration of budget constraints have assured a long record of high client satisfaction. His expertise in all phases of design and his respect for the public resources allows him to provide architectural solutions which are not only functional but also highly durable. His role in reshaping Chicago as an ever-evolving city is reflected in projects such as the Navy Pier Flyover, North Avenue Bridge and numerous CTA and Metra stations.

  • It was in me since I was born. Grandpa McGee said I was going to be an architect when I was very young.
