Architectural Designer

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area – Skokie to be exact – Samantha has always had a strong desire to build up the city she has always called home to its greatest potential, so she naturally gravitated to the world of architecture. She graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL with her Bachelors of Architecture in May 2018 determined to return to Chicago and design spaces that would make this city a better place. Prior to joining M2, Samantha gained extensive professional experience modeling, documenting, and rendering mostly industrial and commercial projects. She was drawn to M2 because of her passion for accessible and equitable public transportation. She is very excited to be working on projects that are going to be directly improving how people experience moving around.

  • Why architecture?
  • It all started with my passion for choreography on my High School dance company. Nothing gave me more joy than inspiring the audience with a beautiful dance that told a carefully crafted story through the movement, song, costumes, lighting, and emotional acting. I knew I wanted to combine this love of artistic creation with my more pragmatic, problem-solving abilities. Built design is where creativity, critical thinking, and humanities come together. Architecture is the one form of art that you can’t escape. Everyone experiences architecture every single day of their lives.
