Associate / Chief Structural Engineer

Tom is a skilled structural engineer with an architect’s sensibility – a technical expert with an aesthetic eye.  His career focus is the integration of architecture and engineering. He holds professional degrees and is licensed in both disciplines.

Tom is a nationally recognized author, conference presenter and committee chairperson.  He cofounded the American Society of Civil Engineers Sustainability Committee and served as chairman of ASCE’s Committee on Aesthetics in Design.

Tom joined Muller2 in 2022 after serving over 30 years with several leading architectural and engineering firms.  His work experience encompasses a wide variety of building projects, including significant experience in cladding design, historical renovations, and the planning of large multi-use structures.

  • That’s a trick question. Engineers aren’t risk takers. We get paid to worry about extreme events that will most likely never happen (but we’ll be ready if they do).
