Co-founder of M2, Jay previously worked at SOM. He quickly convinced Cindy that it would be a great idea to start doing their own work without a penny in savings, a new baby, in the middle of the 1982 recession! They started buying and flipping properties in what was then west Lakeview, split themselves into an architecture firm headed by Cindy and a construction management company which he led. Jay is an affirmed train enthusiast and has brokered this affliction into a successful group of transportation projects and clients for M2. Today, Jay enjoys these projects as well as skiing, sail boat racing and pondering the future of the firm and life.
